We Say “Hello” and “Thank You” again for Allowing us into your homes and lives.

Our Tuesday morning discussion group was blessed this week with a Visitor who has used our website many times and was just traveling through our town and decided to stop in to say “Hello”

He shared with us some of his personal tragedies and sad times along the way of life. Yet even in discussing the lowest of times… it was easy to see he was so filled with joy & happiness. He smiled and laughed and showed no fear, no worries even in these troubled days.

All those worries had been lifted from his shoulders, when he embraced Jesus as his Lord & Savior.

He was a True Pleasure to have in our Office and an Honor to be able to call our Friend.

On his way out he left us with these simple words that frankly say it all…

“Jesus has risen from the dead and will return again
It’s so simple
It’s so beautiful
It explains it All”

These few simple words give us meaning and purpose of life.
These few simple words give us hope and show us love.

He is our God, He is our Savior, He is our Lord.

Thank you Mike for stopping in this week to remind us all how beautiful and simple this can be…

Our Doors are always open
Our hearts are always ready to love,
Our belief is always straight, strong, and true.

Bible Lessons International was founded by Dr. Bob Utley in 1976 in Lubbock, Texas. Initially, Dr. Utley taught the “Uniform” Sunday School series on local radio and television stations. In 1979, however, Dr. Utley felt the Lord leading him into an expanded media ministry. At that time a tax-exempt, non-profit educational corporation was formed which began to produce all three Southern Baptist Convention Sunday School lesson series (Life and Work, Uniform [or International, used by all denominations] and Bible Book).

The present location of the ministry is Marshall, Texas. Subscribers to the ministry’s study guides — audio Bible commentaries, printed Bible commentaries and CD-ROM commentaries — include churches, prisons, hospitals, military bases, foreign missionaries, Bible study groups, and many individuals. Dr. Utley retired from East Texas Baptist University as Professor of Hermeneutics after 16 years of teaching. Presently, he teaches/preaches in churches in the U.S. and abroad.
